- To complete this, log in to Schoology, go to our course, select the folder titled “Night - Chapter 1 Activities,” then click on “Night - Chapter 1 - Discussion Post & Peer Responses.” Follow the instructions for submitting your work.
DUE FRIDAY
By 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 27th, please complete the following:
- Respond to two of your classmates’ discussion posts; instructions here!
- To complete this, log in to Schoology, go to our course, select the folder titled “Night - Chapter 1 Activities,” then click on “Night - Chapter 1 - Discussion Post & Peer Responses.” Read through your classmates’ postings, then pick two to construct responses to. Check the assignment sheet here for details on how to craft your responses.
- Complete the chapter 1 individual guided reading task here!
- To complete this, log in to Schoology, go to our course, select the folder titled “Night - Chapter 1 Activities,” then click on “Night - Chapter 1 - Individual Guided Reading Task.” Follow the instructions for submitting your work.
- Complete the vocabulary “quiz” for unit 4.
- This assignment will be available in Schoology starting on Wednesday, 3/24 and will close Friday, 3/27 at 11:59 p.m.
- To complete this assignment, log in to Schoology, go to our course, select the folder titled “Vocabulary Quizzes,” then click on “Unit 4 Vocabulary Quiz.” Follow the instructions for submitting your work.

- Check your answers to Synonyms & Antonyms for unit 4, and review all missed answers to prepare for your vocabulary assessment.
- Read at least half of chapter 1 in Night. (You may use this resource to find page numbers.)
- Finish reading chapter 1 in Night, and create a post in the discussion thread in Schoology for chapter 1 (assignment here). This is due tonight by 11:59 p.m.!
- Continue studying your vocabulary words to prepare for your quiz.
- Begin drafting your individual guided reading task for chapter 1, due Friday via Schoology (assignment here).
- Respond to one classmate’s discussion post on chapter 1. Remember to follow the instructions here. (You will need to respond to two classmates’ posts total by Friday night.)
- Continue studying your vocabulary words to prepare for your quiz. Once you are ready, you may log into Schoology starting today to access your vocabulary quiz instructions. Feel free to begin planning and drafting this assignment, due Friday by 11:59 p.m.
- Continue drafting your individual guided reading task for chapter 1, due tomorrow via Schoology (assignment here).
- Respond to another classmate’s discussion post on chapter 1. Remember to follow the instructions here. (You will need to respond to two classmates’ posts total.) Both of your responses are due tomorrow by 11:59 p.m.
- Continue planning and drafting your vocabulary quiz, due tomotrrow by 11:59 p.m. (Instructions in Schoology.)
Friday (3/27)
- If not yet completed, respond to two classmates’ discussion posts on chapter 1. Remember to follow the instructions here. Both of your responses are due tonight by 11:59 p.m.
- If not yet completed, submit your completed vocabulary quiz in Schoology. This is due tonight before midnight.
- Finish your individual guided reading task for chapter 1 and submit to Schoology, due tonight before midnight (assignment here).
